about
Zara Handcrafted Jewelry was born. Immersed in the jewelry craftwork of the region, Sarah began creating her own ornamental designs, drawing from the ancient and contemporary. Later, Sarah lived in Russia and years of extensive global travel added more cultural influences to her design collections of necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Today, Sarah works from her studio in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She continues to evolve as an artist, creating one-of-a-kind pieces for juried shows and commissioned works for discerning clients. Join her as you make your own journey of personal style.

Living in the Middle East in the 1990s helped shape the artistic vision of Sarah Lindsey Holmes. She combined her talent for jewelry fashion with the inspiration she drew from Bedouin artists, Yemenite silversmiths, and African and Indian traders.
